Good start to my birthday month. :) Keep ‘em coming! <3

unCOBogable

Every year, our batch hosts a competition for singing, dancing and modelling. For the past 2 years, it was called “BnE’12 star” since it was just for our batch; but this year, we decided to make it different. We named it “unCOBogable” since we opened it to all the batches in our college. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to head the event. In all honesty, preparing for this event was not easy, it required a lot of time, a lot of sacrifices and of course, a lot of work; but when the event finished, boy was it sooooo worth it.

Here’s a little sneak peak of what happened during the event:

This is me and Ms. April, better known as “CONGRACHUULAAASHOONZ” from Wowowee. She was one of our judges for the event. Ms. April was really nice, approachable and beautiful! And, I can never get over the fact that I heard her say her famous “CONGRATULATIONS” line, live!

The two gorgeous girls you see on the photo below are RALPHunzel and BAdet, the hosts. They were super funny! They spoke in “bekimon” or gay linggo. Everyone couldn’t stop laughing because of these two! They were like the life of the show! :)

*They’re straight by the way, don’t let the photo deceive you. Lol.

We had different performances:

SINGING- That’s my good friend Rapi by the way. He has a really really nice voice, it’s like sexy and husky.

DANCING- This group’s a two-time defending champion! Their dance was plain laughtrip!!! It amazes me how they managed to pull off such an amazing performance with only 2 hours of practice on the day itself!

Awarding time:

Here’s the Sean and Bene, the winners for the singing category, with Robert (college president) and Judges- April, Shalala and Makata.

Mr & Ms UNCOBOGABLE 2011- aren’t they the cutest? :)

After the event, the organizers did a little photo-op as well!

Again, with Ms. April. Forgive our faces, we were so tired and beat yet happy! :)

Best BSG ever!!! <3

And who can ever forget these two lovely girls who headed the event with me. Wouldn’t have done it with out them. :)

Kimi & Karla, I love you so so so so much! <3 You girls have no idea how the two of you made me oh-so proud. :)

And to the UNCOBOGABLE CenComm, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. You guys were the back bone of this event. Thank you for all of your effort and hardwork. :) I love you guys to bits!

After the event, we were mad hungry, so some friends and I decided to have dinner. We ate at Texas Roadhouse Grill @ Bonifacio High Street. And, being the sweet tooth that my friend and I are, we brisked walk to Sonja’s cupcakes to get our cravings satisfied. The food was awesome but the company was awesome-r.

Here are a few photos:

That’s Dugs, Me, Marco & Dei, chilling outside Texas Rdhouse.

The girls goofing around! We were on tourista mode, heehee

The gang! (Thank you to the stranger who took this photo)

This day was just pure awesome. I cannot express how happy and thankful I am to everyone who helped me out, watched the event, celebrated with me and congratulated me. :)

Cheers to success!!!! :)

I often fantasize about going somewhere far far away without telling anybody. Be it Africa, Maldives, Indonesia, Russia or wherever! Escape from reality, get away from everything and everyone around me. Discover life, and more importantly, myself.

In the movie Eat, Pray, Love, most of us witnessed Liz’s methodical travelogue of discovering and finding herself- I want that to happen to me to. Yes, I do adhere to the fact that I am too young to do such and not to mention, financially unequipped. Now may not be the time yet, but such will remain to be in my bucket list. As of the moment, sleep is my only escape and my Eat. Pray. Love. journey is but a dream. But hey, at least it still happens… inside my head.

- This post is due to a lot of things going through my mind. Of which I wish to express but somehow, I can’t. The perfect line to describe how I feel: “I felt every once of me screaming out. But the sound was trapped deep in me.”- Show Patrol
